Paris by Night Tour, without the connections
The illuminations are the reason to see Paris after dark, and they are spread out: Trocadéro for the tower, the Alexandre III bridge for the gold, Montmartre for the view back across the city, the Champs-Élysées for the sweep up to the Arc de Triomphe. On foot or by métro you will manage two of them well. In a car you get all of them, warm and dry, with the stops timed around the hourly sparkle.
This is a private tour: your group, your vehicle, your driver. We stop wherever photographs are worth taking and we adjust the order on the night depending on where the crowds and the traffic are.

Up the avenue to the arch, lit and circled by traffic — best seen from the car.
Louvre & Pont Neuf
The glass pyramid at night and the oldest bridge in the city, both quiet after dark.
Montmartre & Sacré-Cœur
The view back over the whole illuminated city from the steps of the basilica.

Before you book
What time does the tour start?
It depends on sunset. In December we start around 6pm, in June closer to 10pm. We confirm the exact time with you a few days before, once we know when the lights come on.
Does the Eiffel Tower really sparkle every hour?
Yes — for five minutes at the top of each hour, from nightfall until 1am. We time the Trocadéro stop around it.
Is this a guided tour with commentary?
Your driver is a licensed chauffeur, not a licensed guide, and will point out what you are seeing and where to stand for photographs. If you want a qualified guide with historical commentary we can arrange one for an additional fee.
Can we get out of the car at each stop?
Yes. The tour is built around photo stops of five to ten minutes each. If you would prefer longer at one particular place, tell the driver and we adjust.
